Get a Restaurant Card
for Bariatric Surgery
Have you heard of a restaurant card for bariatric surgery patients? In the United States, many restaurants offer smaller portions on a children's menu or seniors' menu. Most places are happy to oblige gastric bypass patients, but if they want proof, why not carry a restaurant card? Bariatric surgery doesn't have to mean the end of dining out, or having to carry home 2/3 of your meal in a doggy bag. Your surgeon may already offer a card like this, but if not, he or she will probably be happy to help you by signing it.
The following cards are the same size as the average credit card, so they'll fit seamlessly into your wallet.
They're easy to use. Click on the one you prefer. It will open in a new window (you may need to disable your pop-up blocker) in its full size as a .pdf. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7 or higher, but you probably already have that on your computer.
Don't worry if it looks really big in Acrobat Reader! You may just be viewing it at an increased magnification. It will print at the proper size. Print directly from there or save the image to your hard drive. Make sure you notice where you are saving the image! The small + signs in the corners are your cut border marks.
The card will last longer and look better if you print it on "card stock" which you can buy at most general stores, stationary stores, etc.
We've included a couple of styles and black & white as well as colour options for your restaurant card. Bariatric surgery patients can enjoy many of the same foods as everyone else - just in smaller quantities. Don't get left out!
Please don't use these on your website without contacting us first. Thanks.
Does your favourite celebrity carry a restaurant card after bariatric surgery? We can't say, but wouldn't they look chic whipping out one of our cards?
